For the sake of football, Spot!

The changes that absolutely must happen. Change for the better. The goal is only one: for the sake of the national football better.

Thursday, November 27, 2008 the house at number Cibubur it looked deserted. Invisible owners. Green-roofed house was not ready to receive guests reporters so that guards could only allow those who asked for comment the owner to wait outside.

"Dad is currently resting. It appears that he looked exhausted and unwell. We can not love because we did not get permission instruction," said one security officer.

It was the day when Nurdin Halid, the owner of the house, out of Rutan Salemba at 06.00 AM. It has been more than two years had elapsed days - long enough well meaning. However, since then criticism and pressure for him resign from his position as Chairman of the PSSI progress.

In fact, it has echoed calls for longer, since Nurdin still languishing in the detention room. The reason is obvious, in view of which side was unethical and unworthy of a national football federation led by someone who was in custody.

But what can I say, criticism and pressure were considered to be the wind. Nurdin was still leading the PSSI to this day. National Football Congress, initiated by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is almost a year ago was unable to uproot them. Nurdin was still in his chair.

Do not blame anyone if now appears many of the resistance movement against Nurdin and his PSSI. When the national team appear wholeheartedly in AFF Cup revered, Nurdin and his PSSI forbidden to be showered praise. They still hit by criticism.

The appeal in the emerging virtual worlds. It's all one voice, a voice that is almost the same as two years ago: Nurdin must resign!

That appeal. In a concrete and tangible steps, resistance appeared, one of them, in a new form of competition named the Premier League Indonesia (LPI). LPI promising a full competition would change: the club is not funded budget, foreign referees to games more regularly, and particularly the enforcement of fair play.

Promise of change is good, and worth the wait if LPI is able to fulfill his promise.

Problems began to emerge when the PSSI did not agree with the appearance of LPI. The clubs who defected threatened sanctions. National team players who played there were not separated from their spotlight. For them there is only one legitimate competition: Liga Indonesia, including the ISL.

PSSI also started out the arguments and various regulations, including in it that LPI will not be recognized by the AFC. But pedulikah LPI against all that? No.

LPI is born with their own funds, the club itself and the audience itself (later). So far they do not ask winners of the competition to play in AFC competitions. Assuming LPI is the tournament "between schools", which they do is want to give a decent competition and could advance the football Indonesia.

"This is what the Indonesian football, I think, ought to be," said Arifin Panigoro, the founder of LPI, the official launch of the competition some time ago.

I personally do not defend the LPI. Not too pro ISL. For me, as long as both can be good and better, no problem. Who should benefit from just one: football itself!

Hope with the emergence of LPI is to get the jolt of moral ISL so they want to clean up into a better direction. If the competition is going well, of course, the quality of the national football will be lifted up. Players produced by the competition is also better. In the end, these qualities, ideally, can be transmitted to the national team - which of course is expected to produce an achievement.

But once again PSSI act dumb. They still survive with all the legal rules and regulations - something that used to ignore when they're on top.

If they could talk to regulatory and legal order, where they were when Nurdin in prison? At that time, and perhaps up to now can be repeated infinitely, we can just talk, "From the moral side, no lead is worth a federation of inmates behind bars, especially the former prisoners were still leading up to this moment."

We're talking morals here.
